IZUCHUKWU OKOYE
With a lifelong commitment to community service and youth advocacy, Izu Okoye has worked to foster leadership, political awareness, and community responsibility among young people in his hometown in Awka South. His own experiences with the challenges facing Nigerian youth inspired him to create an organization where young people can advocate for themselves, engage in leadership, and drive positive change.

A Leader for the Youth
From an early age, Izu has been an advocate for his peers, consistently taking leadership roles in political and community affairs. Whether speaking in political forums, organizing youth-led rallies, or engaging with local officials, he has always ensured that the concerns of young people are heard. Through Okoye-Chase Community Partners, he provides youth with the tools to advocate for their rights, take on leadership roles, and actively shape their communities.
A Vision for Change
Growing up in Awka South, Izu faced many of the hardships common to Nigerian youth, including limited access to education, unemployment, and political disenfranchisement. These experiences fueled his passion for youth empowerment and led him to create a platform where young people can lead and drive change.
Through skill building, advocacy, and community-building initiatives, Okoye-Chase Community Partners equips youth with the confidence and skills to tackle Nigeria's most pressing issues. Izu’s journey—from overcoming adversity to becoming a leader for his peers—shows the strength of youth when supported and empowered. He is building a foundation for a new generation of leaders committed to creating sustainable, positive change.
